Kelly O'Brien

Kelly O’Brien has called Jacksonville home since 1980, when his family moved here from Texas. Once here, he attended The Bolles School for junior high school and Wolfson High School. Kelly graduated from Florida State University and began his career in the mortgage industry shortly thereafter with BancBoston Mortgage in 1993.

Kelly understands that buying or refinancing a home is one of the biggest financial decisions that his clients will ever make. That’s why he works hard to ensure his team has the resources and know-how to ease borrowers through the loan process, with no detail overlooked.

His extensive background in all facets of the mortgage lending industry provides guidance and direction for his team members in any situation, whether it be a first-time home purchase, or a refinancing.

Kelly makes a point of keeping up with the latest financial and industry trends, as well as state and federal regulatory requirements, so he can serve as an informed advocate for his team and clients. He and his team ensure that clients get a loan - but that they get a loan that is best for them. His expertise includes conventional, jumbo, FHA, VA, USDA, and renovation loans.

As the former owner of First Coast Mortgage Advisors, Kelly has enjoyed almost 30 years in the mortgage industry. His comprehensive knowledge and experience as a lending professional allows him to guide his borrowers efficiently through the loan process.
